Native Plant Nursery

Supporting native plants on Marin public lands.

In 2016, Marin County Parks created a native plant nursery at the ranger station near Lagoon Park. In collaboration with community partners and volunteers, the nursery works to preserve the genetics of Marin's biodiverse plant communities, and bring them to life as native habitats in county parks and preserves. The nursery also supports community outreach and education to elevate appreciation of native plants and biodiversity.
