Parks and Open Space Commission
Overview
The Parks and Open Space Commission advises the Marin County Board of Supervisors regarding parks and open space policy, and to conduct public hearings on parks and open space matters considered for recommendation to the Board. Learn more about the Parks and Open Space Commission.
Regular Meetings
The September 24, 2026 meeting of the Parks and Open Space Commission was adjourned due to lack of a quorum. No commission action was taken on any agenda item.
A lack of quorum means that the meeting did not have the minimum number of required commissioners present to legally conduct official business.
The September 24 meeting will be rescheduled.
Regular meetings are held generally on the third Thursday of every other month beginning in January. The commission may schedule additional meetings as needed. Members of the public can make comments:
- In-person while attending a meeting
- Online via a public comments form. Submit online comments by noon the Tuesday before a Thursday Commission meeting.
