1.    CALL TO ORDER
Called to Order by Marcus White at 3:04 pm.

 

2.    PUBLIC COMMENT
No members of the public were in attendance.

3.    APPROVE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS REGULAR MEETING

4.    UPDATE ON CSA 33 ACTIVITIES (INFORMATION ITEM)
Staff reviewed projects and improvements:  tree installation in Village Green Park, seven new irrigation valves installed, bus stop post replacement, retaining wall along Calle Del Mar, power washing along paths, and replaced water fountain, gopher count is 28 for the season starting in March. 2 Pittosporum were removed, but still need to remove stumps and some errant limbs. Ping pong net mounts are installed and new, safer net will be installed soon. Will do focused turf renovation (bald spots) this winter with focus on aerating and seeding. 2 Seats at chess tables.

6.    FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 AND FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 BUDGET UPDATE (ACTION ITEM)
Kat Knecht reviewed the year-to-date budget for FY 25, encumbrances, payments and contract, and reviewed ongoing planned budget for FY 26. Of the 25K allocated for professional services, approximately 4K is left.

Motion to approve FY 26 budget with  no changes needed

7.    ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS (INFORMATION ITEM)
Lance Meade would like to see Pittosporum replaced by the restaurant.

Subcommittee formation:  Marcus White appointed a subcommittee of Meade and Mitchell form a subcommittee to get a cost estimate for VG2 retaining wall to bring back in 6 months. Would include north entry improvement and maybe even cost estimate and timeline for basketball court. (Note:  Meade has since resigned, and this item should be revisited)
