Miller Boat Launch
A popular 4-acre boat launch and fishing spot on the east side of Tomales Bay.
Rangers Recommend
- Launch your motorized or non-motorized craft from a two-lane ramp or dock.
- Overnight parking requires a permit. If you are boat-in camping at the national seashore, place a copy of the National Park Service camping permit on the dashboard of your vehicle. For information about other permits call (415) 473-7608.
- Fish from your boat, the dock or along the shoreline for striped bass, perch, rock fish, halibut, salmon, or crab. Don't forget your fishing license [External].
- Bring your binoculars. Waterfowl, shorebirds, raptors, and songbirds are on view throughout the year.
- Dogs welcome on leash.
- Dock, path, and restrooms are ADA accessible.

Know Before You Go
- Do not disturb the wildlife and sensitive ecosystems of Tomales Bay. Maintain a 50 foot distance from shore at all times when you are out on the water.
- Marin County Environmental Health Services (EHS) tests water once a week from April 1 through October 31 for California water quality standards for recreational water contact. For details, visit EHS Water Quality Testing[External].
